WELCOME CIRES 2025
The CIRES 2025 Conference (Conference on Interdisciplinary Research on Environmental, Social, and Governance Strategies for the Sustainable Development Goals) is organized to share research findings and propose solutions to help organizations and businesses achieve sustainable development in alignment with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With the theme “Vietnam’s Readiness to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals,” the conference discusses the role of interdisciplinary research in addressing issues related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria and their impact on the performance of companies, businesses, and regulatory bodies.

Additionally, the conference focuses on interdisciplinary solutions to tackle challenges related to sustainable technology transformation, economics, business, communication, and society. The event attracts participation from researchers, scholars, and managers from non-governmental organizations, private businesses, government agencies, and research institutions both locally and internationally. The presented studies adopt an interdisciplinary approach, integrating knowledge from various fields to develop sustainable strategies in response to global challenges.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Dr. Tran Quy is the Director of the Vietnam Institute for Digital Economy Development (VIDE). He serves as the Vice President of the Science, Technology, and Management Advisory Association.

Currently, he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for various organizations, including the Vietnam Startup Incubator (VSI), the Vietnam Creative Startup Investment Fund, the Vietnam Digital Asset Management Platform (metaDAP), the Digital Platform Solutions Company, and Meta-Uni (Metaverse University), among others.

Dr. Tran Quy has led consulting efforts for many large-scale projects across various fields, including ICT infrastructure, banking, securities, information technology, and telecommunications. With over 25 years of experience in roles such as CEO, strategic advisor, and trainer for major corporations and investment funds, Dr. Quý possesses extensive expertise in corporate management, research, and training. He has conducted hundreds of training programs on enhancing corporate governance capacity, digital business transformation, restructuring, and more for both domestic and international organizations.

He is an Associate Professor in Business Administration and Chair of Hospitality Management at the School of Business, International University Vietnam National University HCMC. His research interests are HRM, sustainable HRM (SDGs 3,8,10,12,13), Digital HRM, leadership, and sustainable tourism.

He has published research articles as a main author in first-tier scientific journals indexed in C-ABS list (the UK) and the Australian ABDC list, for example, Journal of Management Studies, Human Resource Management Journal, Tourism Management, among others.

He also serves as an Academic Editor for Journals, including the Journal of Competitiveness (Q1, SSCI) and PLOS ONE (Q1, SCIE).

Dr. Muslim Amin earned his Ph.D. in Quality & Productivity Improvement from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2009. Over the years, he has held academic positions across multiple institutions, including King Saud University, Taylor's University, Sunway University, and the University of South Florida. Dr. Amin's research primarily addresses service quality, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction in various sectors, including banking, tourism, and hospitality. His work investigates how digital transformations, emotional intelligence, and high-involvement practices influence workplace and customer outcomes. He has received accolades for his contributions as a reviewer for prominent journals, such as the International Journal of Bank Marketing and The Service Industries Journal.
