6 UEFers ready for the new journey of winter internship program in Japan

DECEMBER 16, realizing the outstanding values that the internship program brought in the current context of globalization, UEF continues to promote this program. This is an opportunity for students to approach a professional working environment, train their working skills and develop their language ability, which help boost their confidence on the journey of proving themselves in the international labor market. And with that being said, 6 more students embarked to Japan to join the On Job Training program.

UEF’s representatives arrived at the report to send encouragements and reminders to students include: Ms. Nguyen Thai Ha - Deputy director of Center of Corporate Partnerships, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Tien - Deputy Dean of Faculty of Business Administrations, Ms. Nguyen Viet Thuy - Deputy Dean of Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Mr. Vuong Minh Chau - Lecturer of Faculty of Japanese Language. In addition, the UEFers’s “took off” day to a new land also  witnessed the appearance of their family and friends to send support. 

The two Japanese Language students participated in the one-year internship program at Atami New Fujiya Hotel, Shizuoka, Japan included: Luong Ngoc Tu (Class of 2022) and Vu Ngoc Truc Vy (Class of 2020), together with the other four: Nguyen Duc Toan (Faculty of Business Management, Class of 2021), Ngo Dinh Bao (Faculty of Business Management, Class of 2021), Do Bao Tran (Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Class of 2021) and Nguyen Dang My Phuong (Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Class of 2020), who enrolled in the 4-month internship program at T Hotel Ryuo - Japan. 
 

6 UEFers prepared for the international internship program

Accordingly, UEFers will perform operations related to this industry such as: Ensuring the quality and comfort of the Hotel rooms always be cleaned, hygienic, tidied; Maintaining cleanliness for public areas, clean camping areas; cooking assistance; restaurant service… In addition, the students can have a more connected and profound cultural experience, and learn to make Japanese food. But most important is the cultural exchange and practicing Japanese with the locals. 

The UEF’s lecturers sent many support and care for the UEFers. At the airport, UEFers are reminded about the required tools and papers, and share some current information about Japan for them to be better prepared mentally and give their best for this exciting and useful internship program. With the care, support together with the results UEFers gained after the international internship program, their parents are better relieved and expect in their growth after the training.

In the caring atmosphere upon boarding time, the 6 UEFers are filled with detailed reminders and support. And so, their international internship program officially begins. They are all equipped with the learning and experiencing spirit for the program. We truly believe this “export” will bring many valuable lessons for UEFers. When they return, the students will become more brave and confidently ready to take part in both domestic and international employment markets.
