UEFers depart for Japan to begin their international internship experience
At Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures, Director of the UEF Center of Vietnam-Japan Human Resources Development, and Ms. Tran Thanh Huy – Deputy Director of the Corporate Cooperation Center, were present to see off the interns, offering words of encouragement and motivation. In addition, their friends and family were also there to support them.
Teachers, friends, and family sent their best wishes for success to the two interns
This flight takes two students from the Japanese Language programme, Nguyen Hoang Phuong Uyen (Class of 2020) and Phan Thi My Linh (Class of 2022), to Osaka City, Japan. Osaka is a vibrant city rich in cultural heritage, known as an economic and culinary hub of the Land of the Rising Sun. Phuong Uyen and My Linh will be completing internships at Wagokoro Izumi Restaurant.
Currently, more than 200 UEFers have gone to Japan for internships. The first batch of students has already returned, bringing with them many positive changes and proving the quality and value of the Japan Internship Program. Because of this, the two new interns are no longer as anxious about their long journey, as they are now confident in the benefits of the experience that awaits them.
Teachers gave Phuong Uyen and My Linh detailed advice and words of encouragement
To help reassure the UEFers about their upcoming journey, the teachers offered motivation and shared many exciting things waiting for them in Osaka. Whether studying at UEF or venturing out into the international market for real-world experience, the teachers have always supported and stood by the students. This support will provide additional motivation for them as they continue to improve and develop themselves.
With thorough preparation in knowledge, culture, language, and especially professional skills, UEFers are confident that they will have no difficulty in integrating into their internship organizations and adjusting to life in a new country. UEF wishes Phuong Uyen and My Linh a successful international internship, with the hope that they will gain valuable practical experience to enrich their future careers.
