DECEMBER 18, the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures together with Center of Corporate Partnerships continued to “send-off” two UEFers to Japan, officially beginning the turning-point internship program in the international learning program.
The freezing winter with lowered temperatures and fully snow-covered is coming to Japan. These extreme weather conditions put UEFers with many challenges upon starting their internship journey in the current times. At the embarkation, the lecturers explain the details to the UEFers carefully, give spiritual encouragement for UEFers to have more power and adaptation to the current weather and successfully complete the important internship program.
Joined the departure of UEFers are Dr. Vo van Thanh Than - Dean of Faculty of Japanese Language, Head of Center of Vietnam Japan Human Resources Development; Ms. Nguyen Thai Ha - Deputy Director of Center of Corporate Partnerships. In assistance with the UEFers on this meaningful moment also includes their friends and families.
In this batch, the two students enrolled in the one-year internship in Japan are Tran Thi Bao Tho (Class of 2020) and Nguyen Trang Thy (Class of 2020). Both will land in Tochigi prefecture and are scheduled to have their internship at Kinugawa RoyaL Hotel. There, they will have time for apprentices, practice and do paid jobs related to Hotel-Hospitality. In addition, the UEFers will be able to learn to make Japanese dishes, discover famous destinations, enjoy the exquisite cuisine and immerse themselves in the local culture.
UEF’s lecturers always pay attention and carefully give advices to the UEFers upon departing time. From luggage preparation, checking tickets, passports and important papers to paying attention to the weather, outfits and quickly adapt to the life conditions in Japan. Those thoughtful pieces of advice help UEFers gain more confidence upon embarking on the new journey.
Though knowing the extreme weather conditions in Japan is a huge challenge, UEFers are still filled with confidence, showing their effort and determination on the departure day. The caring and support from the lecturers is a supporting “flame”, greatly encouraging them to be prepared for this new journey. We truly believe, the breezing cold of Japan cannot stop the active spirit and power of UEF’s “warriors”.
