The event was not only a creative arts platform for students but also held special significance in celebrating the 32nd anniversary of the Vietnam-Korea diplomatic relationship. With the goal of creating an opportunity for young people from different universities to meet and exchange cultural experiences, the K-Chum Festival has become a vibrant gathering spot for energetic K-pop melodies, blending traditional and modern elements. It is a place where young people can showcase their artistic talents while demonstrating a deep understanding of Korean culture – a culture that has been rapidly gaining popularity among Vietnamese youth in recent years.
The competition was organized professionally with clear scoring criteria: choreography uniformity (50 points), expression (30 points), and costumes (20 points), with a maximum score of 100. The stunning and impressive performances at the qualifying round created an artistic space full of excitement for the audience. Each team left a unique mark, showcasing not only their talent but also their passion for K-pop music and art.
The results of the qualifying round will be announced on November 19, 2024, and the top teams will continue to compete in the Finals, which will take place on December 20, 2024, at the UEF campus. The Finals are expected to be a colorful music festival, bringing together outstanding talents and a spirit of cultural connection between Vietnam and Korea.
As the organizer, UEF continues to affirm its role in fostering cultural and artistic exchange. Programs like the K-Chum Festival provide students with the opportunity to showcase their talents and highlight the values of creativity, integration, and connection. Through this, UEF aims to accompany the younger generation in their journey of self-discovery and immersion into the global cultural flow. Congratulations to all the teams that completed their performances in the qualifying round, and we look forward to seeing you at the Finals of the K-Chum Festival 2024!
