UEF inaugurated smart classroom and Chinese Cultural Space

The ceremony was joined by Mr. Tu Chau - Deputy Consul General, Consulate of the People’s Republic of China in HCMC; Mrs. Trieu Khiet Lam - Deputy Consul, Consulate if the People’s Republic of China in HCMC; Mr. Wang Zhen Qiang, General Director of  ALO360.COM Joint Stock Company. 

Represented UEF were Mr. Do Quoc Anh - Vice Chairman of UEF Board of Directors; Dr. Nhan Cam Tri - Vice President of UEF; Dr. Ho Vien Phuong - Vice President of UEF; Mr. Nguyen Van Manh - Deputy Chief of UEF University Office and Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan - Deputy Director of UEF Faculty of Languages and International Cultures, Head of Chinese Language Department.

The multi-purpose classroom is equipped with modern devices such as a lecturer computer, 15 computers for students, an 86 inch touch screen integrated writing board system, cameras and speakers system together with teaching apps. With the integration of both online and offline study, this classroom helps both lecturers and students optimize teaching and learning effectiveness. With the advanced equipment like automated lecturer-tracking cameras and live session streaming capability will deliver a smart educational experience, convenience and meet the globalization trends in learning.

In addition, the Chinese Cultural Exhibition Room was designed as a cultural space with the Chinese tea set, traditional costumes and instruments decorations and an 86 inch touch screen. With this space, UEFers will not only get to expose themselves to the knowledge, language but has an in-depth understanding of the rich Chinese culture, enriching their knowledge and learning experiences.

 

Chinese Cultural Exhibition Room

During the handover signing ceremony, Mr. Do Quoc Anh highlighted the strategic partnership between Vietnam and China, especially in education. He expressed that both countries achieved outstanding achievements in various fields, with education playing an important pillar throughout the 75 years of diplomatic relations. The multi-purpose classroom and the Chinese Cultural Exhibition Room with the total value of 300.000 Yuan (around 1,17 billion VND) is a symbol of firm partnership of UEF and partners.

This project is implemented by ALO360.COM (Chinese Enterprise) providing related equipment from China. Representatives of the enterprise also expressed their hope of the most effective usage of this project, providing practical benefits for UEFers. This modern system not only served the study needs but also the cultural connection bridge, provided UEFers the opportunity to develop comprehensively in knowledge and skills.
