Baking & Mixology Journey: FTHMers had a wonderful field trip and culinary experience

UEFers are frequently offered opportunities to expose themselves, acquire experiences and nurture themselves from a variety of real-world environments. Additionally, beyond books and normal teachings, they got to frequently study at prestigious domestic and international businesses, suitable with their current major.

DECEMBER 17, FTHMers had the field trip and experience at Tan Nhat Huong Limited CO., LTD and enrolled in the “Baking & Mixology Journey” program. With wonderful experiences, the activity offered FTHMers with a wealth of valuable lessons as well as shaped their career orientation.

In assistance with the FTHMers for the field trip was Ms. Tran Thi Bich Duyen - Lecturer of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management. 

Welcomed and provided valuable knowledge for UEFers were Ms. Trat Thanh Thao - Head of Training Department of Nhat Huong Bakery Vocational Training center, Ms. Nguyen Quynh Tram - Lecturer of European pastries, together with the enthusiastic assistance from the team of baking specialists.

During the field trip, Ms. Thanh Thao gave UEFers a detailed introduction about business overview, history as well as the growth of Tan Nhat Huong Trading CO., LTD, as well as about the journey of brand establishment, the oriented core values and transformational steps during the development process.  

In addition, UEFers also got to visit and explore the professional process of pastry manufacturing, from selecting ingredients to every single exquisite baking technique. Ms. Trat Thanh Thao shared valuable practical expertises which brought specialized viewpoint of the industry, helped UEFers not only broadened their knowledge but also shaped the future career pathway.

FTHMers then had the opportunity to immediately implement their skills by decorating cookies and making tiramisu. Under Ms. Pham Nguyen Quynh Tram’s detailed assistance, the exquisitely decorated cookies were created by the hands of FTHMers, in addition to being engaged in the tiramisu making process, from ingredient selection to the final product. Through these activities, UEFers got to implement their acquired skills into real-life, encourage creativity in addition to discover professional baking tips and enrich their job-related skillset in an inspirational environment.

The organization of field trips to businesses is considered a conventional bridge that helps UEF and businesses connect and nurture their partnerships in order to achieve the common goal of providing UEFers with real-life knowledge and skill for the future.
