02/18/2023
FEBRUARY 17 - After a time of internship orientation and practical experience at UEF, students of the Bilingual Canadian International School (BCIS), who had concluded the internship report, were awarded certificates from UEF.
Previously, after completing UEF's internship instruction on the theme of social media work on Facebook, BCIS students presented their findings to Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Phuong – Head of Online Marketing Department, Center of Information and Communication. She expressed her appreciation for their willingness to experiment with diverse forms of writing. Even though there were some fundamental mistakes in the report: Misuse of spoken language; Lack of condensity in content and conclusion in each paragraph; etc., overall, the interns performed admirably in such a limited time.

Beside that, BCIS delegates also expressed their gratitudes at receiving a lot of support from UEF’s faculty members and students. Particularly, Dr. Luu Hoang Thien Minh’s counseling session and career orientation made a lasting impression on them in terms of knowledge and the way he imparted it.
After the grading and assessment procedures, Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh – Deputy Director, UEF International Institute awarded certificates and internship results to BCIS students in the afternoon of the same day.

UEF handled certificates and internship results for the interns

Concluding his first internship program, Dang Gia Thinh confessed his experiences at UEF: “On the first day at UEF, I was greeted kindly by Mr. Do Quoc Anh - Vice Chairman, Board of Directors, who is extremely friendly and attentive to us. Aside from that, UEF International Institute’s members also enthusiastically supported us in introducing, visiting the university and orienting about the professions we wanted to pursue. In particular, in the process of completing the internship at UEF, we also received enthusiastic support from the other members in the clubs.’’
The communication practice and career orientation for BCIS students concluded successfully. UEF will continue to welcome BCIS's second delegation with more practical activities, such as assisting students in selecting appropriate professions and providing early exposure to university environments. This will contribute to bolster the sustainable collaboration between both institutions.
