NOVEMBER 19, coordinated by the Department of Student Services and the UEF Spanish and Latin American Institute, with the support of the Consulate General of Italy. This is one of the key activities during the Italian Cuisine Cultural Week in Vietnam.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Quoc Viet, Director of the UEF Spanish and Latin American Institute, emphasized: "Italian cuisine is a treasure trove of distinctive culture, having developed over centuries and becoming a source of pride on the world culinary map. UEF is honored to be selected as the venue for this event, contributing to spreading the beauty of Italian cuisine to students and the community."

In addition, he shared his personal love for Italian cuisine, particularly the variety of Pasta dishes, and offered an interesting comparison between Italian cuisine and that of Spain, a country also famous for its hundreds of unique Tapas dishes.
Joining the program to share their experiences with UEFers were Mr. Daniele Melito, known as "The Italian Uncle," founder and CEO of MULO; Mr. Ciro Sorrentino, the renowned Italian pizza chef; Ms. Chau Tieu Ngoc, founder of Sunshine Equipment; and Mr. Eric Baumgartner, founder and CEO of Dôme Hospitality.

After the interactive session, students and attendees had the opportunity to enjoy a buffet of iconic Italian dishes such as Pizza, Spaghetti, and Pasta, prepared by talented chefs. This was a moment for everyone to immerse themselves in Italian culture, savoring wonderful flavors and interacting with culinary experts.
The "Culinary Crossroads" event not only opened the door to the world of Italian cuisine but also served as a bridge for UEF students to gain a deeper understanding of the diversity and richness of global cultures.
