Hospitality ManArtist Challenge 2025: New Sustainable Tourism creative showcase for the youth
The Hospitality ManArtist Challenge 2025 - Green Horizon organized by the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management has officially kicked off, marking a promising race ass the competition extends its scale for the first time to include both high school students and University students in Ho Chi Minh City.
With the theme of “Green Horizon”, the competition oriented towards raising the awareness of Sustainable Tourism, and simultaneously looking for creative ideas in the field of Tourism - Restaurant - Hospitality.
When Sustainable Tourism becomes a common trend, Hospitality ManArtist Challenge is born
Hospitality ManArtist Challenge is an academic competition for students who are passionate in the field of Services. In 2025, the competition kicked off with a notable scale, as the first time welcoming high school students, provided the young ones the opportunity to gain experience and showcase their abilities right from the secondary level.
The competition is divided into two separate competition Boards. For the University Board including UEFers and from Universities that offers training in Tourism - Hospitality Management in Ho Chi Minh City, there will be three rounds: Green Insight ( February 20 - March 10) - Contestants create a short video clip TikTok to show their ideas for sustainable tourism, Green Exploration (March 11 - March 26) - Teams cooperate with mentors from enterprises, developing ideas into complete projects; Green Shine (March 27) - The teams competing through the two rounds of Pitching and Debate, finding out the winning team.
And with the High School Board for students of Grade 10 and 11 from various High Schools around Ho Chi Minh city, there will be two rounds: Green Vision (February 24 - March 15) - Students produce creative videos on the idea of sustainable tourism; Green Idea (March 29) - Top 5 teams directly compete at UEF, going through two rounds of Pitching and Puzzle to determine the winning team.

In the scene where the Tourism - Restaurant - Hospitality Industry faces many challenges related to the environment and resources, building the model of sustainable, environmentally friendly tourism has become an urgent need. This platform promotes real-world issues, in which requires the contestants to think creatively and propose feasible solutions related to: Developing Tourism linked with environmental and ecosystem protection; applying the green hotel model; optimizing renewable energy; Developing sustainable cuisine, minimizing food waste; Implementing a circular economy in the Field of Restaurant - Hotel…
Especially, the outstanding ideas from the competition will be gathered and shared with organizations, businesses to further research and practically implement them, contributing to developing the tourism industry in more sustainable ways.
