K22 Marketing students to graduate ahead of schedule with success in thesis defense

FEBRUARY 19, the UEF Faculty of Marketing organized the Graduation Thesis Evaluation Board for UEFers of class of 2022. The thesis defense serves as a fundamental milestone for them, marking their serious academic research process alongside professional maturity. 

Do Thi Bich Ngoc - Student of Faculty of Marketing, became the first one of the class of 2022 to successfully protect her graduation thesis before the Evaluation Board, aiming for graduation in advance. 

The highly practical thesis received positive judgement from the Board 

“Evaluation of the impact of brand assets to the fast fashion buying behaviors: a research on students at HCMC” was Bich Ngoc’s research theme, mentored by Dr. Nguyen Dang Huy Vu - Head of the Marketing Department. During the ten to fifteen minutes of presenting her thesis to the Board, Bich Ngoc showed her confidence, logical thinking and depth in deploying research content, such as an overview of brand assets and fast fashion buying behaviors, theoretical basis together with research model, methods and results, which later on proposing solutions to enhance brand value in the fast fashion industry.

The evaluation Board included: Dr. Phan Bao Giang - Chairman of UEF, Dr. Nguyen Quang Trung - Debater and Mr. Nguyen Dang Huy Vu - Secretary. After the student’s presentation, the Board members acknowledged the practicality of the topic, while appreciating the effort as well as the serious research spirit of Bao Ngoc. The Board also gave detailed comments, helped the author thoroughly complete her thesis before officially going into storage.

The success in thesis defense and expectation to graduate ahead of the schedule is a deserving fruit for the non-stop learning and researching journey of Bao Ngoc, which is her pride alongside being the big motivation for UEFers in general and  Marketing students of class of 2022 in particular in conquering the fundamental mark of graduation. 

We truly believe, Bich Ngoc’s research topic serves as a firm platform for her to expose herself to the labor market, especially in the field of Marketing - a major requires creativity and high applicability.
