Olympic UEF 2025 kicks off with new features, widespread sportsmanships of UEFers

FEBRUARY 27, during the technical meeting and draw for the events of Olympic UEF 2025, Mr. Bui Quang Dong - Director of UEF Department of Student Services- Head Organizer emphasized that this year’s edition is beyond an ordinary tournament, it is also a grandeur sports event with various accompanying activities. The new features together with crucial information of the tournament were also disseminated to ensure fairness, transparency, and compliance with regulations.

The meeting was participated by the referee’s committee, team captains, and heads of delegations from various units. The representative of the sponsor is Mr. Ho Chi Thien - Head of Project Development of K-Tech Co., Ltd.

On behalf of the organizers of the tournament included Mr. Bui Quang Dong - Director of UEF Department of Student Services - Head Organizer; Mr. Nguyen Huynh Sinh - Deputy Director of UEF Department of Student Services, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee; M.A. Le Van Khoa - Standing Organizing Committee.

Olympic UEF 2024 consists of 8 sports including 12 contents: Men’s single Billiards, Women’s single Billiards, Men’s single Badminton, Women’s single Badminton, Aerobic, Mixed-gender Tug-of-war, Men’s 3x3 Basketball, Women’s 3x3 Basketball, Men’s soccer, Women’s soccer, Men’s Volleyball and Arena of Valor.

The differences in this year’s edition is the complete focus on team tournament board, eliminating the free board compared to the previous years. In addition, the organizers have launched many accompanying activities that brings fresh experiences for the athletes and UEFers following the tournament.

The outstanding activities included an inclusive exhibition for UEF Olympic 2025, enhancing media content on the radio channel together with the news promoting sportsmanship, launching competitions related to commentators in various disciplines, and voting for impressive athletes.

Especially with the accompaniment of sponsor K-Tech, the organizers showcased a fanpage dedicated to the Olympic UEF. This is an official information channel to quickly and comprehensively follow the progress of the season.

During the meeting, the referees of each content provided the information of the competition’s rules and regulations, and violations handling methods, while also noting issues such as competition uniforms, attitudes, and complaints,... The referees also provided detailed answers to the athletes’s questions regarding expertise and competition rules.
