The Pitt students spent a day visiting and learning valuable lessons

Early in the morning at UEF, the Pitt students attended a culture and religion class taught by Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan - Head, Tourism and Travel Services Management.

In addition to learning about the family values and cultural behaviors of the Vietnamese, students were exposed to knowledge of various religions practiced around the world and in Vietnam.

The Pitt students had the chance to bring classroom learning to life when they visited the Jade Emperor Pagoda, a prestigious temple in Ho Chi Minh City.

In the afternoon, under the instruction of Mr. Tran Trong Thanh - Lecturer, Tourism and Travel Services Management, US students toured the Independence Palace and War Remnants Museum.

Students focused on listening and reading detailed information at each site

Artifacts and trophies enhanced students’ comprehension and visualization of Vietnam historical stories. Students observed and obtained knowledge about the striking features of each site, which helped them understand more about the values of Vietnamese history.

Following the journey, Plus 3 - 2024 will take students to the Mekong Delta on May 15. Pitt students will have the opportunity to explore the lives of Western Region people and experience compelling activities. This journey is expected to create remarkable memories for students from both universities.
