MARCH 4, After many competitive rounds with many inspiring ideas, the Final Round of the competition to search for the young speaker for TEDx UEF 2015 - The Youngest Impact with the theme of “Speak Your Mind” has officially come to an end. The impressive presentation from the top 3 finalists have opened up new perspectives on the mindset, creativity and innovation among the youth.

Participated and supported the contestants in the final leg included: Ms. Nguyen Kim Thoa - Deputy Director of the International Institute, Ms. Nguyen Le Dong Xuan - Deputy Dean of Faculty of Economics, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tuan - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of English, Ms. Tran Ngoc Diem Minh - Deputy Director of Department of Student Services, Ms. Phan Ly Nguyen Trinh - Head of the Students Affair Task Force of the International Institute, Head organizer of TEDx UEF, together with various UEFers.
The Jury Panel to ensure transparency and professionalism, alongside helping to find the winner were: Dr. Pham Minh Phuong (Felicia Pham) – CEO Sunwah English Education, Mr. Nguyen Huu Khang - Marketing Lecturer of RMIT University Vietnam, Mr. Daniel Naville - Lecturer of the UEF International Institute, Mr. Victor An - CEO TTS Education (Joined online from South Korea) and his representative at the Finale - Ms. Branda - GM TTS Education.

The Top 3 speakers competing at the Final Round were Nguyen Hoang Thai Lam from the International Institute, Truong Khanh Linh from the Faculty of Economics, and Pham Ngoc Thuy Nhi from the Faculty of English. All three confidently stood on the main stage to inspire, share their personal stories and bold perspectives on a few notable social topics, especially towards the young generation.
Thai Lam chose a meaningful message to deliver - “Whatever we hear shapes our life stories.” With a confident demeanor and captivating presentation style, this contestant received many compliments from the judges. About Khanh Linh’s presentation, she chose the topic of “Feminism in the modern society”. From then, she analyzed and provided a new perspective of a youth towards a notable social issue. Thuy Nhi brought a special story - “Use music to change life”. It is the experience she has gone through, which highlighted the value of music tied with every moment and milestones as we grow and develop.
After the outstanding presentations, the final results were completely convincing with the Winner of The Youngest Impact goes to Pham Ngoc Thuy Nhi. Second Place goes to Nguyen Hoang Thai Lam. And Truong Khanh Linh - Who brought practical social perspectives closely has excellently achieved the Third prize.
Accordingly, Thuy Nhi also brought the “People’s Choice”award with the outstanding number of votes from the audience. This is the most evident proof for the impact of ideas which are rich in values.
The journey of The Youngest Impact successfully concluded
The end of The Youngest Impact competition also marks the beginning of TEDx UEF 2025. With the announced topic of “noIF”, the event promises to be the meeting of pioneering mindsets, assist the youth in discovering their potential, push back hesitation, step out of their comfort zone and courageously pursue their goals. Let’s wait for the inspiring comeback of TEDx UEF 2025 on the upcoming May 15!
