Top 12 YouBranding 2024 went through expert instruction on creating impressive branding strategy

DECEMBER 20, as part of a series of training activities before the final round, Top 12 YiuBranding 2024 had the online training with the theme “Create branding Strategy”. This training serves as a crucial tool to help the contestants dealing with the final round topic in the need of giving suitable and creative Marketing strategies for their brand.

In companion with the contestants for the third training session was Mr. An Dang - Lecturer of Aim Academy, with a high level of experiences in digital technology and media planning.

The workshop equipped the contestants with knowledge and skill for solving the “quiz” upon final round

During the training session, Mr. An Dang provided basic rules and essential strategies in personal branding. The main highlight being understanding that building marketing strategies must focus on analyzing the market, target the right customers, as well as using tools such as STP, 6ps model and methods for evaluating strategic effectiveness.
Especially, the speaker emphasizes the importance of the Consumer Segmentation Process. Understanding the target customers will help the contestants in establishing a suitable and effective branding strategy. Additionally, Mr. An gave explanations on ways to segment the market, from market segmentation, product segmentation to psychographic segmentation, which helps the brand easily approach and promote the right message to the right targets.

The speaker also gave out a variety of practical examples from well-known brands in support of the theory such as Lifebuoy, Tresemmé, Nivea Men,.... Through the case-study, the finalists better understand how these brands have positioned and demonstrated their values to the users. One of the most important tool introduced by Mr. An is Brand Positioning Statement, including: target customer group, brand description, distinct characteristics,reasons for trust and what the brand possessed for trust within users.

Mr. An also promote the idea of imagining what personality the brand would possess whether it is a human. From then, they can easily picture and build a brand that is relatable, highly recognizable in the heart of customers.
