Follow the resounding success of the 2024 program - inXide out, TEDX UEF 2025 is on its journey searching for talented speakers, prepare to return with a fresh, creative, captivating new look. As part of the program, the “The Youngest Impact” competition is held to discover and honor the exceptional UEFers who possess eloquence, sharp logical thinking and impressive English presentation skills.
FEBRUARY 25, After the evaluation and selection based in various criterias such as presentation skill, storytelling ability, creative thinking and influence, the Preliminary Round has selected the Top 8 contestants, who continue to advance into the competitive Semi-final.

The competition is attended by Dr. Pham Huy Cuong - Dean of the Faculty of English Language, Prof. Dr. Eric Jose Olmedo Panal - Director of UEF International Institute, Ms. Hoang Thi Hang - Deputy Dean Assistant of the Faculty of Information Technology, M. Hoang Tran Quang Duong - Head of International Training Department and Ms. Phan Ly Nguyen Trinh - Head organizer of TEDx UEF 2025.
Simultaneously, the transparency and professionalism of the competition can’t be assured without the participation of the judges who “hold the balance” to objectively evaluate throughout every single round and find the most deserving potential contenders. The Jury Panel included: Dr. Pham Minh Phuong (Felicia Pham) - Chief Executive Officer & Founding Shareholder of Sunwah English Education, M.A. Pham Cong Nhat - National Communications Director of DOL English, M.A. Ben Clairmonte - Lecturer of the UEF International Institute and Mr. Victor An - Executive Director of TTS Education Center.

At the Semi-Final of “The Youngest Impact - Talk to Impress”, each candidate will have seven minutes to share their knowledge, ideas, inspirational stories and personal perspective through their presentations. It can be said that this is a golden opportunity for the young and enthusiastic talents of UEF to showcase their presentation skills to an innovative and creative community.
At the competition, the contestants presented various emotional and meaningful stories with unique colors. Whether it is about family, love, fear overcome or the journey to find themselves,... all were confidently and coherently expressed in English by UEFers. The stories are not only narratives but also profound experiences distilled from their personal journey, igniting a strong motivation, encouraging listeners to reflect and change their perspective of life.
At the end of the candidate’s presentations, the Judges provided constructive feedback, focused on improving both the content and the performance. Top 8 were praised for their thorough preparation, creative thinking together with the confidence while presenting, which made their stories lively and engaging. In addition, the judges also offered practical feedback that helps UEFers refine their skills and encouraged a spirit of continuous learning so that their future presentations can become increasingly impressive and outstanding.

After the impressive deliveries, the Top 3 Finalists were Nguyen Hoang Thai Lam - UEF International Institute, Truong Khanh Linh - Faculty of Economics and Pham Ngoc Thuy Nhi - Faculty of English. These three potential contenders promised to bring the high-quality and exciting performances to the final leg.

TEDx UEF 2025 is known as an inspirational event organized with 100% sharings in English, very suitable with the model that focused on foreign language training at UEF. And, the Finals of “The Youngest Impact” competition will be held of the upcoming March 4, UEFers, let’s together predict who will successfully conquer the title of this year’s Speaker TEDx UEF!
