UEF and Perbanas Institute Collaboration Paves the Way for International Internships

The discussion between both sides opened up new learning opportunities  for students.

On behalf of UEF, there were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President, Board of Diretors; Dr. Ha Thi Thuy - Dean, Faculty of Finance and Accounting; Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Deputy Dean, International Institute and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Deputy Dean, Faculty of Finance and Accounting.
The representatives of the partner’s side, there were Ms. Hedwigis Esti Riwayati - Dean, Faculty of Economics and Business; Ms. Dyah Nirmalawati Taurusianingsih - Deputy Dean, Graduate School; Ms. Tifa Noer Amelia - Head of Bachelor, Management Department; Ms. Nani Fitriani - Deputy Head of Bachelor, Management Department; Ms. Ovalia - Head, Business and Consultation Center; Ms. R Adelina Fauzie - Lecturer, Faculty of Economics and Business; Ms. Riza Zahrotun Nisa - Lecturer, Faculty of Economics and Business and Ms. Nurhasanah - Staff, Dean Office.


Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc delivered a welcome address to the partner delegation and shared his thoughts on the program.

 

After a brief introduction of each partner, the representatives from both sides engaged in a more detailed discussion about the collaboration program, with a particular focus on the fields of finance, banking, and accounting.

The discussion explored opportunities for lecturer and student exchange programs between the two institutions, a one-week summer camp at Perbanas Institute, one-semester internships for UEF students at partner banks affiliated with Perbanas Institute, and possibilities for collaborative research and community service initiatives.






The representatives from both sides discussed potential areas for cooperation.

 

Perbanas aims to become a leading university in economics, finance, and banking, with a strong focus on information technology. The institute’s strengths include an innovative curriculum, professional lecturers, modern teaching methods, diverse extracurricular activities, and an extensive strategic cooperation network. These qualities align perfectly with UEF's values and development goals.
 

With this promising start, it is hoped that both institutions will continue to organize more high-quality collaborative programs, providing students with the best learning experiences. These opportunities will enable students to develop comprehensively in terms of knowledge, skills, and mindset within an international environment.
