UEF Collaborates with 10 South Korean Universities to Enhance Study Abroad Opportunities for UEFers

NOVEMBER 19, UEF welcomed representatives from the Busan Global Exchange Foundation and 10 universities from Busan, South Korea, for a working session at the university. During the meeting, representatives from both sides discussed international study opportunities for students across a variety of academic fields.

Representing UEF at the discussion were Dr. Nhan Cam Tri, Vice President; Ms. Nguyen Thai Ha, Deputy Director of the Center of Corporate Partnerships; and representatives from the faculties of Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, and International Languages and Cultures.

From the Busan Global Exchange Foundation, Mr. Joo Hyeon-hoo, the Foundation's Representative, attended the meeting, along with representatives from the 10 participating universities: Kyungsung University, Tongmyong University, DongA University, Dongeui University, Busan University of Foreign Studies, Korea National University of Haeseong, Dongeui University of Science, Busan University of Technology, and Busan Women's University.
 

UEF expands study opportunities in South Korea for students by partnering with universities in Busan
 
Before discussing the details of the collaboration, Dr. Nhan Cam Tri, Vice President, provided an overview of the university and its prominent programmes for students. In terms of potential cooperation with South Korean universities, UEF's faculty representatives proposed the development of international semester programmes, short-term exchange opportunities, and internship placements in South Korea for UEFers.

Among the participating universities, UEF has signed comprehensive cooperation agreements with Tongmyong University and Busan University of Foreign Studies. The international semester programme and student exchange initiatives have been successfully implemented.

Based on the discussions during the meeting, there is hope that many new cooperation opportunities will be created, offering high-quality international programmes for UEFers and faculty.
