The program aims to strengthen the cooperative relationship between UEF and universities in Indonesia
Representing the Indonesian Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City were Mr. Agustaviano Sofjan, Consul General; Mrs. Tri Astuti Sofjan, Consul General’s wife; Mrs. Eva K. Situmorang, Consul for Culture and Society; Mrs. Yovanka Yoan Siahainenia, Consul for Diplomacy; Mrs. Indri Yanuarti, Consul for Economics; Mr. Iman Hasta Dradjat, Communications Officer; and Mrs. Helena Afrianty, Treasurer.
On the UEF side, there were Dr. Nhan Cam Tri, Vice President; Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc, Vice President; Prof. Eric Jose Olmedo Panal, Director of the UEF International Institute; Dr. Ha Thi Thuy, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting; Mr. Nguyen Ba Anh, Deputy Director of the UEF International Institute; and Mr. Nguyen Thai Ha, Deputy Director of the Center of Corporate Partnerships.
This cultural event was organized by UEF in collaboration with the Indonesian Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City
In his opening speech, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc greeted the delegation and emphasized the cooperative relationship between UEF and universities in Indonesia. Earlier in November, Indonesian students concluded their exchange semester at UEF. Today’s cultural exchange program further strengthens the diplomatic ties between the two countries in general and the sustainable educational connections between universities in particular.

The Consul General of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Agustaviano Sofjan, first extended his congratulations to the UEF faculty on Vietnam Teachers' Day, November 20. During the program, Mr. Sofjan highlighted the cultural, economic, and educational ties between Vietnam and Indonesia, which are even more meaningful as the two countries approach the milestone of 70 years of diplomatic relations in 2025. Additionally, the Consul General shared information about the Indonesia-Vietnam Festival Week 2024, encouraging students to follow, explore, and experience many interesting aspects of the cultures.

Throughout the program, students had the opportunity to enjoy cultural performances that showcased the distinct traditions of both Vietnam and Indonesia. The uniqueness and impact were reflected in the traditional dances, costumes, and musical instruments.
The event "The Symphony of Indonesian - Vietnamese Art and Culture" created a colorful space, allowing students to broaden their perspectives on the unique cultures and arts of Indonesia. UEF also regularly organizes international exchange activities to provide students with opportunities to access, learn, and develop global knowledge.
