UEF commenced the construction of the embankment for the Saigon South campus project

On the morning of March 20, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) held a groundbreaking ceremony to build an embankment to protect the campus nearby the Ba Lon canal, which belongs to the Saigon South campus project. The project covers more than 55,000m2 with the aim of implement the policy of developing the UEF's facilities system in the coming time.

The project is expected to include a training center, scientific research, international cooperation and technology transfer with Classroom system, Enterprise simulation room - Bank, Specialized Studio system Library, Multi-purpose Hall with large capacity, Outdoor Sports Area, Swimming Pool, and Youthful Entertainment Area, ... It is designed to create a comfortable space in the studying, living as well as developing comprehensively for students, creating a professional and dynamic working environment for UEF’s staff and lecturers.
It is known that the UEF university project, adjacent to Phu My Hung and a new residential area, belongs to the southern gateway university cluster that includes many large universities such as RMIT, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, etc. Thus, through this project, UEF promises to bring learners the most modern learning and living space in the current university system.
In the future, UEF is expected to have more large-scale campuses to meet the needs of learning and comprehensive development for students.
Currently, UEF has a spacious headquarters at 141 - 145 Dien Bien Phu, Ward 15, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City. This headquarters is built according to an open, sophisticated overall architecture, focusing on modern multi-color interaction and emotions, commensurate with the modern and class model of the university. The construction floor area is nearly 24,000 m2, a structure of 23 floors and 3 basements.
