DECEMBER 13, With the aim of improving non-professional designs, enhance creative skills and optimizing using technical tools for the team of UEF’S personnels, lecturers and employees, UEF’s office in collaboration with Faculty of Information Technology held the “Be creative, step up with Canva and AI” training program. The program attracts many of UEF’s lecturers in participating and learning.
More effective Training class for UEF’s Personnel, lecturers and employees
The program included Dr. Ho Vien Phuong - UEF’s Vice President, Dr. Van Thi Thien Trang - Deputy Dean of Faculty of Information Technology, Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh - Deputy Dean of Faculty of Information Technology. Mr. Dinh Van Loc - Chairman of the board of Onnet Joint stock company in charged of sharing this valuable topic for UEFers.
The training program began with the 7 current trends of AI. Together with the era’s development, digital technology has risen up which has been followed by many changes in design and creative field. The speaker introduced some common design tools and giving details of each such as Ideogram, Microsoft Designer, Canva… with Canva being the main focus.
Sensory is an important factor, in which lecturers need to understand the basic needs of forms, colors, ratios,.... in a design product. Specifically, the lecture emphasized the factors of images, word font, vignette in a form, aside from some of the basic rules about the 6:3:1 ratio in design, Zig Zag, balance,... According to the current pop trends, more and more design styles are created that are associated with a group of subjects’s hobbies, needs or aesthetics. Mr. Dinh Van Loc introduced to the UEF’s lecturers 6 commonly used design styles: minimalist, vintage, Flat, Neon, Black & White and 3D.
Diving deeper into practice, Mr Dinh Van Loc has had a detailed sharing on how to create a design on Canva. With the help of technology, it isn’t a challenge creating a media publication. User can flexibly use and combine applications to support formula production, design and editing of products quickly and conveniently while still ensuring creativity and artistry.
Besides, to further discuss creativity in AI, Mr. Dinh Van Loc also shared the tool’s diverse applications to all the lecturers. For example, AI is used in creating, building and developing brand image, in content creation, video, podcast,...
The training provided a new approach at a higher level with the integration of AI to Canva, which is a fairly common design tool to the team of UEF’s Personnels-Lecturers-Employees. We believe that, through the speaker’s enthusiastic sharing and practical guidance, teachers have learned more useful lessons, better serving their current work.
