UEF Expands Strategic Cooperation with Bolton University, Strengthening International Connections

The representatives of Bolton University included Mr. Alan Mcneilly - Deputy Director of International, Ms. Chanika Wongvised - International Officer.

From the UEF’s side, there were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President and Director, UEF International Institute; Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute. The meeting had the participation of HUTECH’s representatives: Prof. Dr. Le Van Canh - Vice President, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong - Deputy Director, Institute of International Education.
 

Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President of UEF welcomed the representatives of Bolton University.

Before discussing the primary topic, both representatives of each institute provided an overview of the establishment history and the curriculum for the partner.

With the aim of establishing an international connection, various cooperation opportunities were discussed, including online co-teaching classes featuring experts from Bolton University as the main speakers, international exchange programs, etc. The specific detailed content will be further addressed to lay the groundwork for signing the MOU in the future.

Cooperation opportunities were discussed by both parties.

Founded in 1825 as the Bolton Mechanics' Institute, the University of Bolton is a renowned higher education institution in the UK. Despite nearly 200 years of academic heritage, it was only granted “university” status in 2004

Bolton University was named the top university in the North West for teaching quality in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2023. It also received a Silver rating in the 2023 Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).

It is hoped that UEF and Bolton University will sign the cooperation agreement in the near future

Following the meeting with Bolton University, UEF aims to explore further cooperation opportunities for international programs with this high-quality partner. This will serve as the foundation for implementing various activities that will help students engage with a world-class learning environment and education system.
