UEF faculty member connects with President of HZ University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands)

Recently, Mr. Adrianus C.M. Heijmans – Faculty member, UEF International Institute conducted a business trip to his alma mater - HZ University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands). On this occasion, he engaged in discussions with representatives from HZ University and proposed various international cooperation initiatives for both institutions.

During his visit, the lecturer met with Prof. Barbara Oomen – President of the Executive Board, and Ms. Johannetta - Exchange Programmes Coordinator, HZ University of Applied Sciences.


The two sides engaged in discussions on various future collaborative programs 
 

Partner representatives demonstrated keen interest in this potential cooperation and are eager to welcome the UEF delegation to visit and experience Dutch culture and Zeeland province firsthand. 
 

Aiming to develop high-quality learning programs, both sides plan to sign agreements to strengthen their partnership. This working session set a foundation for both sides to implement effective and successful cooperation for the coming years. The partnership between the two institutions primarily aims to facilitate students exchange programs, providing them with new opportunities to experience diverse cultural and educational environment, as well as broaden their perspectives for personal growth. 


 



Special gifts from HZ University were presented to UEF 

 

Additionally, advancements in technology will enable the two sides to conduct online activities such as co-teaching classes and virtual lectures. These programs will foster interaction and collaboration, enhancing the learning experience for students. Moreover, HZ aims to facilitate connections among faculty members to promote collaborative research projects, thereby improving the quality of education and knowledge sharing.

Recently, Mr. Adrianus C.M. Heijmans also delivered several lectures to first-year students at the partner university. The HZ students were excited to learn that UEF could be a potential destination for their semester abroad

 

It is evident that international faculty members have played a crucial role in expanding UEF's global partnership network. With the significant rise in the number of foreign lecturers, we are confident that they will continue to serve as strong connectors in UEF's extensive international cooperations.
