UEF graduation ceremony 2017: Impressive and emotional

This morning (July 30), the University of Finance and Economics of Ho Chi Minh City (UEF) held the graduation ceremony to honor new Bachelor in the 2013 course and Associate in the 2014 course at the Opera House (No. 7 Cong Truong Lam Son Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, HCMC).

In the meantime, the universtity also graduated 43 Master of Business Analytics in 2015 – the very first generation. The ceremony took place in a solemn, joyful and emotional atmosphere.

Attending the graduation ceremony were Mr. Director Ha Huu Phuc, Ministry of Education and Training, Leaders of Department of Education and Training, representative of 15 enterprises, Board of Directors, The University Board along with parents of the Bachelors and Associates to congratulate and celebrate the occasion.

At the ceremony, Mr. Director Ha Huu Phuc - Representative of Ministry of Education and Training acknowledged the UEF collective efforts in the process of renovating the quality of training. In ten years of development, UEF has established itself in the community of universities. In the near future, the university will focus on investing in facilities, improving training methods, developing managers and lecturers in both quality and quantity to achieve higher results in the career of cultivating people. He also sent congratulations to the new Masters, Bachelors and wished them successful on the future career path in order to demonstrate and confirm the quality of UEF's training in the national education system.

In his momentous speech at the ceremony, the University Principal, Mas. Nguyen Thanh Giang gave a kind and encouraging message to the new masters, new bachelors. He also thanked the officials, teachers, staffs and the families of the new masters, bachelors who have always supported and co-operated with UEF for a long time so that learners and students would have the such proud achievements today. Therefrom, Mas. Nguyen Thanh Giang hopes that the new masters, bachelors will promote the good tradition of the UEF community, have a constant learning awareness, trained essense and creative application of learned knowledge in reality; humble and proactive learning others, especially their peers and predecessors to enrich their knowledge and to reach all expectations.
   
Out of the total number of 177 students graduated and awarded this time, 4.5% passed with high distinction, 16.4% passed with distinction, 53.7% passed with credit. All students acquired IELTS 5.5 and B1 in European framework and above which demonstrated the efforts of students and affirmed the quality of international training UEF. In particular, according to the Center for University Business Interdisciplinary Statistics, 85% of students graduated from this phase had jobs before getting formal diplomas, whose 60%, afterward, had jobs in Coca Cola, VietinBank, HD Bank, Royal Audit, KPMG, Sacombank, Media Zingmp3, Golden Hill Vietnam.

 
 

The ceremony ended in a warm and emotional atmosphere. This will be the most memorable moments in the student time of UEF learners and students. From this point onwards we would like to wish you a firmer and more successful career.
