UEF lecturers actively participate in training in quality assurance for 2024 - 2025 academic year

During her speech at the program, Dr. Ly Thien Trang emphasized that quality assurance is not only a measure of prestige but also a driving force for the university’s sustainable development. With the accreditation achievements obtained, UEF is slowly establishing its position in the Vietnamese higher education system and aiming for higher international standards. In order to maintain and nurture the training quality, the firm collaboration between different units in the university is a prerequisite, while also requiring thorough presentation, constant update on evaluation standards and innovative implementation methods. 

Dr. Ly Thien Trang shared the importance of quality assurance to the university’s development 

During the training, Dr. Le Vu Huong Giang - Director of the Department of Quality Assurance, introduced the Handbook of 2024 - 2025 academic year quality assurance. This is an important tool that helps direct and assist quality assurance throughout the university. Accordingly, the handbook will provide not only information on the internal quality assurance system of UEF but also detail information about the responsibility of each unit, related individuals, as well as the functions and missions of Department of Quality Assurance and Board of Quality Assurance.

Dr. Le Vu Huong Giang provided information on the quality assurance of the 2024-2025 academic year 

One of the key components of the training session is to guide the lecturers responsible for quality assurance in carrying out their duties effectively. From the planning stage, implementation of the report process, collect and store the preliminary evidence files, everything needs to be synchronized and transparent to meet the evaluation criteria. Especially, implementing the evaluation standards into teaching and management practicality will contribute to enhancing the training quality, create an international standard learning environment for UEFers. 

The training session helped the team of officials, lecturers and staff of UEF thoroughly understand the quality assurance, create motivation for every individual and unit to proactively enhance their capabilities and contribute to the overall development of the university. With the strategic orientation and high determination, UEF continues to affirm its position of being one of the pioneering universities in assuring and accrediting education quality.
