DECEMBER 17, the Law Industry has its own characteristics, as well as the nature of work and working environment requires great concerns for beginners. Understanding the fact and to greatly prepare for the upcoming internship of UEFers form the Faculty of Law, The Faculty in collaboration with UEF Center of Corporate Partnerships organized the “Communication and behavioral skills required of interns in the Law profession environment” workshop.
Joined the workshop were Mr. Vu Anh Sao - Deputy Dean of The Faculty of Law, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Loan - Deputy Director of UEF Center of Corporate Partnerships. While Law is an exclusive profession, there are plenty of internship - available positions for UEFers, according to the speaker. During the speech, Ms. Vu Thi Que stressed on internship orientation, which mainly at companies or Law offices. In addition, UEFers can actively find other chances at the Court or Procuracy.
First of all, the speaker emphasized on whether to become a litigation lawyer or consulting lawyer, for this internship means a firm background in pursuing their goals. Being a Finesse, Caution and Professionalism - required profession, it is essential for UEFers to actively acquire these skills while still on campus.
Like any agency, being active while working is always required. Activeness helps us study better, leaving a great impression with the agency during internship. The mentors will also consider and create a development training program, according to the lawyer.
In addition, Ms. Vu Thi Que also shared some ways to evaluate candidates in the Law profession under the recruiter’s perspective. From then, UEFers learned suitable preparation and behaviors for a job interview. They will be valuable “tips” for UEFers in the upcoming Mock-Interview.
We truly believe the enthusiastic sharing from the lecturers and experts have better prepared UEFers for the approaching graduation internship program. UEF would like to wish UEFers of the Faculty of Law to find their dream internship agency and successfully complete this final journey.
