Scientific Research is not only an obligation but also an opportunity for the staff, lecturers and employees to enhance their professional competence and contribute to the University’s overall development. To support and provide favorable conditions for the team of staff, lecturers and employees in their research work, UEF organized the training session on scientific and technological management regulations and guidelines for research projects declaration on the scientific research management portal. The program attracted approximately ninety staff members, lecturers and employees with the sharing and accompany of Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Luan - Deputy Director of UEF Department of Service, Technology and International Projects.
During his opening minutes, Dr. Ngo Minh Hai - UEF Vice President emphasized that scientific research plays an essential role in enhancing training and academic quality. UEF continuously offers favorable conditions and encourages the lecturers and staff to participate in research activities with practical support policies. With UEF frequently organizes multi-level seminars, including international seminars, are also to expand the research and learning spirit of the Faculty towards integrating into the development of global science.

During his presentation Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Luan provided an overview of the current scene of scientific and technological activities, and at the same time delved deeper into the particular regulations at UEF. The emphasized content included scientific research obligations for lecturers, University level scientific research topics registration and implementation regulations in the academic year of 2024-2025, the methods of converting research activities into standard periods as well as important notes during the research implementation process.
Especially, the training program also mentioned the publication issues in domestic and international science magazines. This is one of the important criteria for evaluating research quality, at the same time an opportunity for lecturers to enhance their academic reputation and expand their research network.The specific guidelines on the publication process, selecting appropriate magazine, and article evaluation criteria have provided faculty and staff the necessary knowledge to bring their research work to a broader academic community.
In addition to disseminating the regulations, the training session also focused on guiding the declaration of research projects on the scientific research management portal. Using this system not only helped UEF better manage the research activities but also provides convenience for the lecturers and staff in monitoring, reporting and updating their research results.
