UEF Welcomes Delegation from Japan's Kanazawa Institute of Technology for Innovative Collaboration

The Kanazawa University of Technology delegation paid a visit to UEF on the morning of August 7.

The visiting delegation from Japan included Prof. Ryo Kanai, Mr. Yoshito Nishida, and Ms. Hitomi Sakai, who are lecturers at the PD Project Design Center, Kanazawa University of Technology.

Welcoming and working with the international delegation, on behalf of UEF were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Director of the Center for Project Design Education; Ms. Ha Le Thu Hoai - Deputy Director of the Center for Project Design Education; along with other lecturers from the Center and numerous students enrolled in the PD2 module.



There are curricula promoting the creative spirit of students in the PD2 class.

At UEF, the delegation from Kanazawa Institute of Technology visited and interacted with students in the PD2 class. UEF introduced the Japanese lecturers to the specially designed learning space for this unique module. The modern facilities include group-arranged tables and chairs to facilitate student collaboration on study and research projects. The classroom is fully equipped with an internet system, projector, writing board, and other necessary tools.





The international delegation exchanged with the PD2 class in the UEF summer semester.

The students were divided into small groups, each consisting of 4 to 7 members, to research and implement their own projects. In front of the PD lecturers from K.I.T., UEFers openly and passionately shared about their learning experiences, as well as the process of preparing to launch their "brainchild." Following their presentations, they received valuable feedback and expert recommendations from the delegation.



UEFers shared about the group project that they were working on in the PD2 module. 

During the business trip, the international delegation observed that the PD training process at UEF was conducted professionally and fostered students' creativity. After reviewing the projects shared by UEFers, the K.I.T. PD lecturers highly appreciated both the originality and feasibility of each topic, as well as the talent of the young students in applying their knowledge to this unique subject.

K.I.T representatives deemed the innovative ideas of UEFers highly.

Following the visit to the UEF classroom, representatives from the Center for Project Design Education held a private working session with the Kanazawa University of Technology’s delegation. During this meeting, various ideas were discussed to enhance and innovate the curriculum, strengthen the partnership, and create more opportunities for students to engage in innovative projects in the future.
