UEF Welcomes the Consul General of Hungary and Corvinus University of Budapest

NOVEMBER 19, UEF welcomed Mr. Lehocz Gábor, the Consul General of Hungary in Ho Chi Minh City, along with representatives from Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary. During the meeting, detailed discussions took place on various cooperation areas related to research, teaching, and Master's degree programmes.


The meeting opened up opportunities for students to access European education 
 
Accompanying Consul General Lehocz Gábor was Mr. Nguyen Dang Peter, Secretary. Representing Corvinus University of Budapest was Prof. Ákos Varga, Dean of Executive and Postgraduate Programmes.

On the UEF side, there were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc, Vice President; Dr. Ngo Minh Hai, Vice President; Prof. Eric Jose Olmedo Panal, Director of the International Institute; and Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh, Deputy Director of the International Institute.
 






Details of the proposed cooperation were discussed by both sides 

After introducing information about the two institutions, the representatives discussed the proposed areas of cooperation, including: joint research projects between faculty members; teaching activities such as workshops and seminars; and Master's degree programmes.
Additionally, UEF and Corvinus University of Budapest have agreed to plan a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two universities.

It is known that Corvinus University of Budapest is one of the leading public universities in Hungary, with strengths in training in economics, business, management, and social sciences.

With the information exchanged and the agreement to sign a cooperation partnership, it is believed that the two universities will offer many valuable programmes for both faculty and students in the near future.
