UEFers delved in inspiring stories from special guests at “Make it out” takshow
December 16, UEFers got the opportunity to hear inspirational stories about the journey of creating special impressions and integration from the special guests at the “Make it out” talkshow. The program held by UEF Spanish and Latin American Institute was part of the goal of diversifying international activities for UEFers.

Together brought interesting stories for UEFers were Mrs. Ariadne Feo Labrada - Consulate General of the Republic of Cuba in Ho Chi Minh city, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - CEO, President of BSB Nanotechnology Joint Stock Company - CEO of International Alumni Network and Ms. Hoang Kim Chi - Miss Fire, Miss Earth Vietnam 2023. The programme also witnessed the participation of Mr. Nguyen Quoc Viet - Director of UEF Spanish and Latin American Institute.
During her speech, Mrs. Ariadne Feo Labrada “guided” UEFers around Cuba, unfolding the nation’s history, geography and people, especially the diplomatic stories with Vietnam and other Asian countries. In addition, she also delved deeper in how to become a good diplomat. According to Mrs. Ariadne, it is essential for the youth nowadays to nurture a firm nationwide and continental knowledge through books or Internet, followed by excellent language fluency to communicate and deliver to others. Most importantly, to have your country in your hand, and proudly share and introduce it to the international friends.

After Mrs. Ariadne Feo Labrada’s story, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung shared his multi-dimensional viewpoint together with his life, study and work abroad experiences, which were valuable information For UEFers intended to transfer or study abroad after graduation. The students got to indulge stories of hardships during the first days of studying abroad due to language barriers to adapt to a new environment. From the stories, the students got to perceive and created values for themselves.

With Ms. Hoang Kim Chi’s sharing, this is a model of a dynamic youth who loves to explore, learn and develop. From the story of learning English, training critical mindset, creating million-followers TikTok channel or the journey of conquering her Runner-up position inspired many UEFers.

From a wealth of astonishing stories from our guests, UEFers got a deeper understanding about the value of identity confirmation. The students got inspired and “packaged” a compilation of valuable lessons, greatly equipped for the upcoming journey of self-development in the future, specially in the current context of global integration.
We hope that the workshop greatly equipped UEF with better motivation to “set sail”, becoming quality global citizens and contributing many positive values for the community and society.
