FEBRUARY 27, The series of FOE Proskill Training organized by the UEF Faculty of Economics in collaboration with the IBC club continued to bring various practical values for UEFers. In the fourth session with the theme “Discover the labor market and determine the suitable job”, UEFers had the opportunity to listen to the in-depth sharing from M.S. Tran Quang Dao - Lecturer of the ISB Institute - University Of Economics HCMC.
Ms. Nguyen Le Dong Xuan - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics delivered her speech at the training and sent letter of thanks to the speaker
During the training, M.S. Tran Quang Dao provided UEFers an overview of the current job market, including the rising career trends, the potential fields and the demand for Human Resources in the context of digital technology increasingly developing. He emphasized that businesses these days not only look for a candidate with a firm professional background but also highly value the adaptability, creative thinking, and soft skills, especially digital skills and multicultural communication.
In addition to analyzing the job market, the speaker also assisted UEFers in determining the important skills that help candidates become outstanding to employers. Among them, analytical and critical thinking are fundamental skills that help employees evaluate issues logically and make accurate decisions.
Simultaneously, the skill to intelligently evaluate problems is the key for students to adapt and innovate in their jobs. In addition, a spirit of learning and the ability to acquire new knowledge will create huge advantages when working in a constantly changing environment. Foreign languages also played a crucial role, especially to those who wished to develop their career in multinational corporations.Ultimately, proficiency in digital tools is an essential requirement that help students enhance their work performance and maximize work process in the digital era.
Beyond just theory, the speaker also instructed UEFers in analysing and searching for job opportunities on employment platforms such as LinkedIn, TopCV,.... while helping them identify the suitable skills for businesses' development trend. From that, UEFers have a better orientation on their career path, also be more proactive in equipping oneself wih essential knowledge and skills.
