“Self-acceptance is a clear sign of Compassion” - Shared  by Dr. Nguyen Van Tuong

Self-acceptance being the ability to perceive stressful emotions and situations objectively, without judgement. However, self-love and acceptance is hard with many people. The invisible barriers that come from the belief, mindset or the habit of extinguishing wrong thinking makes it easy to make decisions without essential critical thinking. The journey of self-acceptance can’t be done without resilience, which is the process of learning to take off the covers, actively acknowledging their self-worth and others’s worth.

UEFers shared their stories and asking the speakers

According to the expert, each person needs to learn to develop and evolve from their own trauma. “A person who possesses compassion would always carry themselves with the mindset that leads to development and completion” - Shared by Dr. Nguyen Van Tuong. The gentle but profound meeting healed many students in facing reality and realized a person has their own journey, values and on that pathway, there is no need to rush or follow others.

More than just educational psychological knowledge from the experts, the workshop sent UEFers an honest reminder to take it slow, listen to yourself more and start the journey of self-love from the smallest things. The values brought by the workshop will continue to accompany UEFers, encouraging them to be more confident on the pathway of finding happiness and nurturing themselves.
