Outstanding Academic Background and Multinational Practical Experience  
Mr. Alexander Parini is a scholar, writer, and expert in international relations with a solid academic foundation. He holds a Master's degree from SOAS University of London and Peking University, two of the most prestigious universities globally known for their research on Asia and foreign policy.
Before moving to Asia, he worked in U.S. politics and studied political science at Portland State University. His diverse experience in both politics and academia has provided him with valuable insights into international relations, foreign investment, labor policies, and U.S. foreign policy in the Asia-Pacific region. 

Currently, Mr. Alexander Parini is not only an International Negotiations Lecturer at the Faculty of International Relations but also serves as a Global Engagement Liaison at the university. He is also an active member of the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce (CTCVN) in Ho Chi Minh City. 
With my new role at AmCham, I am excited to enhance collaboration with businesses and member organizations to create more opportunities for UEFers. Through my connections, I can help you access various internship programs at U.S. companies and invite international speakers to share in-depth insights into the industry. In the near future, I also aim to expand cooperation with universities in the U.S. and other countries, further strengthening UEF's global ties and opening new doors for students worldwide,' he shared.

An outstanding debater with an impressive 'collection' of achievements 
In addition to his success in the field of international relations, Mr. Alexander Parini is also a seasoned debater with numerous prestigious awards. He was honored as the Top Speaker at the National Championship of the International Public Debate Association (IPDA) in 2015. Not only did he excel in his role, but he has also led many debate teams to achieve impressive results in regional and national competitions.

Under his guidance, debate teams have consistently achieved success, from winning Public Forum Debate and Extemporaneous Speaking championships to competing in state-level Congressional Debate tournaments. These accomplishments highlight his outstanding debating skills. They also underscore his role in shaping a generation of students with sharp critical thinking and excellent argumentative skills.

Alongside his teaching responsibilities, Mr. Alexander Parini plays a key role in UEF's education internationalization strategy. As a Global Cooperation Specialist, he has been actively contributing to expanding the network of collaborations with educational organizations, businesses, and international partners, bringing numerous high-quality learning and internship opportunities to students around the world. 
 

He is also frequently present at the university's major events in various roles, from serving as a judge in large competitions and hosting international events to advising on specialized training programs. His active participation helps UEFers access global educational standards, expanding opportunities for learning, networking, and career development in an international environment.
