December 15, The Union - Association of the UEF Faculty of Law in cooperation with the UEF Intergrity Law Cub held the Teambuilding with the theme “United We Rise” for freshmans. This was an event where the “newbies” got to train their teamwork skills, experience cheerful, educational group activities, helped strengthen the bond between members of the faculty.
The exciting weekend of “AE Law” students
Represented the Faculty of Law were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duong Anh Son - Director of the Faculty of Law, Mr. Vu Anh Sao - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Nguyen Nam Trung - Assistant Dean of Faculty of Law, Deputy Head of UEF Center of American Law.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duong Anh Son shared in his opening speech: ”I hope after the participation in the teambuilding, you guys will acquire new knowledge about lawsuits as well as your current major, aside from creating opportunities for mutual friendships, promote learning spirit and teamwork”.
The Teambuilding activity witnessed the participation of the 7 teams with Majors - correlated names: Financial - Banking Law, Business Law, International Business Law, International Trading Law, Administrative Law, Civil Law and Criminal Law.
The program took place with many fun and exciting challenges, which brought many memorable experiences for the UEFers. Began with “Ring the golden bell”, where members from different teams competed with 20 10-second long questions. Each question required the contestants to show their agility and broad knowledge of various fields in lawsuits.
The participation of the lecturers created an amusing “rescue” session with a game of charades, in which each would draw an image and pass on to the other to guess what the character was. The winning teacher will have the right to resurrect the contestants for the competition.
The game did not only create robust laughter but also create a meeting and bonding opportunity between UEFers and lecturers. In the end, 1st place was awarded to Tuyet Giang (Financial - Banking law team), Phuong Anh (Administrative Law team) finished at 2nd and 3rd place belongs to Thuy An (Criminal Law team).
The main part of the Teambuilding program was the challenging games, with three stations scattered around the campus. Each station would have a game waiting to be conquered by the contestants, which each requires finesse, agility and teamwork.
For the first game of “straw bottles”, all the participants must use their nose or lips to carry 15 straws into one prepared empty bottle. There were laughters but also huge stress throughout the entire game, with the results announced: 1st place is Financial - Banking Law team, 2nd place goes to Criminal Law team and Finishes at 3rd was Administration Law team.
In addition, the “Tic-Tac-Toe” game was also highly anticipated, where the team simultaneously competed against each other, and the winning team advanced to the next round. All the participating teams delivered their best performance and high competitive spirit. Finally, the Business Law team finished in 1st place, followed by the Criminal Law team in 2nd place and the Civil Law team finished in 3rd place.
The games section finished with the game of “Balloon in the hole”, where the teams are required to use their body to pat the balloons in the holes in the chairs. This is a segment that requires smooth coordination and body control, creating a number of amusing and memorable moments. And here are the final results: the Administrative Law team finished at 1st place, 2nd place goes to the International Trade Law team, and 3rd place goes to the Criminal Law team.
The “United We Rise” themed Teambuilding program for freshmans at UEF was a massive success, which left many memorable impressions for new UEFers.
We truly believe the activities that the program provided have helped the “AE Law” relax after stressful study hours, while providing an opportunity to feel the teamwork and activeness of the team of Faculty of Law.
