Various in-depth values shared from Service-Learning by UEFers of International Institute

DECEMBER 20, the International Institute organized the subject report of “Engaging Humanities” with the model of integrating communal activities. The students group were given ten weeks to deploy the project of  “Annunciation Shelter” and brings many meaningful values.

The report session was joined by Ms. Tran Thi My Phuong - Head of Center of Service-Learning, Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh - Deputy Director of UEF International Institute, Ms. Chu Nguyen Hoa Anh Dao - Manager of Annunciation Shelter and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao - subject’s lecturer.

During the session, three groups presented their project implementation process at the shelter including: teaching English for children and promoting selling dessert for funding. From the project’s content, implementation methods to timeline of activities, all are shared in detail.

Additionally, the groups also presented their recording video of the past meaningful journey, expressing the unforgettable lessons, impressions and emotions. This community factor-integrated lesson equipped UEFers with various skill sets, learning to love and deeper compassion to widespread beautiful values.

Ms. Anh Dao - Representative of Annunciation Shelter, praised the student’s effort in bonding and teaching the children after listening to the student’s project implementation process. Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh also had emotional shares when seeing students grow and spreading love through this subject.
