DECEMBER 14, the Faculty Of Marketing of UEF successfully held the Semi-final round of YouBranding 2024 with the exciting competition from the top 40 contestants of the college board. After many training sessions with experts and field trips to businesses for material findings, the contestants have impressively resolved the theme, which brings us the multi-colored artistic works, creating a space interference and special connection between special colors and brand stories.
Joined the Semi-final event and brought spiritual encouragement for the top 40 included: Dr. Nhan Cam Tri - Vice president of UEF, Dr. Phan Bao Giang - Dean of Faculty of Marketing, Mr. Vuong Van Khoi - Deputy Director of UEF Center of Consultancy and Student Recruitment, Ms. Huynh Vu Chi - Deputy Director of UEF Center Of Consultancy and Student Recruitment, Ms. Hoang Thi Hang - Assistant Dean of Faculty of Information Technology, the Board members, lecturers of UEF’s different Faculties, Institudes, Departments, Boards, Centers and UEFers.
The Semi-final round was also accompanied by sponsorship from Doi Dep Brand, Minh Dang Corporation, Dai Dung Metallic Manufacture Construction and Trade Corporation, Hoang Mai Technology Company Limited.
The judging panel for the “Hue Zone” round included: Mr. Wilson Lieu - CEO of AIID, Mrs. Hana Cao - Head of Creative 1990 Agency, Mrs. Doan Kim Quy - Client Director Mindshare Vietnam, Dr. Nguyen Huynh Sinh - Deputy Director of Department of Student Services, Mr. Ho Han Dan - Strategy Director of Minh Dang Corporation, Mr. Luong Cong Tuan - Assistant of Director of Dai Dung Metallic Manufacture Construction and Trade Corporation, Mr. Ho Phi Hai - CEO of Hoang Mai Technology Company Limited, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tong - Creative Director Ideaguru, Ms. Tran Thi My Phuong - Head of Center of Service-Learning, Mrs. Nguyen Cam Nhung - Chairman of Minh Dang Corporation; Mr. Luu Nguyen Thinh Tri - Director of Hai Tri Import-Export Corporation, Mr. Pham Cong Tuan Ha - Assistant to the President of Doi Dep Brand.
The theme for the top 40 in the Semi-final round is to show the combination of business/product brand with the personal brand through a Printads A0 physical publication. Scores are given based on 3 criterias: content, formality and presentation - debate (if any). Through training sessions at field trip at businesses, the top 40 have had time for thorough preparation for their “brainchild” and compete enthusiastically at the “Hue Zone - Key Visual Showcase” round.
All 40 products together created a colorful “art exhibition”, where individuals are not only able to show their personalities, hobbies or courage but also create a tight connection with big brands and businesses. The students have solved this “math problem” creatively, thoroughly and above all, surprising answers from the students’s uniqueness, innovation and dynamic.
After the Semi-final, the top 12 was finally revealed. Whether they are still in the competition or eliminated, this has already been a memorable journey with many valuable lessons and interesting experiences. Once again, UEF congratulates the top 40 for having done so well on their sections, and let’s look forward to the promisingly colorful and explosive final competition of the final 12.
