Welcoming the "rookies" with exciting and exciting activities and introducing you to the clubs that make up the color of the Faculty, the Faculty of International Relations (UEF) organized a club's week event - Fly with IR. The closing Gala Night took place on the evening of September 26.
With the attendance of Dr. Tran Thanh Huyen – Dean of Faculty; Dr. Dao Minh Hong – Vice Dean; Mr. Nguyen Huynh Sinh - Deputy Head of Student Affairs Department - Secretary of the Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghi – Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union and lecturers of the Faculty and representatives of the Union of Faculties, Institute.
At the beginning of the event, the new members of the Faculty enjoyed the performance "Fly Me to the moon" performed by the IRE Club, creating an exciting and joyful atmosphere for the Gala Night.
After participating in the "flight," many students expressed their feelings about genuine, enthusiastic, elaborate, meaningful, exciting experiences. Ms. Hong Dao – a Freshman majoring in International Relations, shared: "The motivation for me to learn is because I see this as an opportunity to interact with friends and brothers and sisters. Besides, I also update a lot of useful information about my Faculty. Although the event was held online, I can feel the atmosphere that everyone brings. I hope that the epidemic will be reversed soon so that we can directly experience the direct activities at our Faculty and University."
Furthermore, students continued the journey to find the password with a mini-game. Accordingly, they've to go through 8 questions to open all four icons. The content of the question revolves around the basic knowledge of International Relations.
At the end of the program, Dr. Tran Thanh Huyen explained the IR Security password "Respect all - Fear none." She said: "We are not afraid of anything is because we are equipped with a knowledge base to apply in each specific and appropriate case. Furthermore, as an International Relations student, always learning and updating the development of humanity will give us a ready attitude to any change. In addition, respecting differences is respecting each person's freedom and accepting what will happen."
From September 22 to September 25, IRers have been through IRE Zone stations - which contain many "brain-twisting" games; IRC Zone – academic playground with in-depth knowledge; IRG - the place to heal "shocks" after overcoming the challenges of IRE Zone, IRC Zone. Finally, the finishing station is Union Branch Zone - which marks a brilliant milestone for many students.
With activities to introduce clubs, this series of events helps new IRers gain more helpful information and experience the environment in each Faculty's small organizations. This will help you find the right "landing station" for your university journey.
