Closing Ceremony of the official survey for 3 undergraduate programs

The Closing Ceremony was honored to welcome Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam - Director of VNU-CEA, Head of External Assessment Delegation.

From the external assessment delegation, UEF was honored to welcome MSc. Luu Khanh Linh - Department of Testing and Quality Management, University of Finance - Marketing; MSc. Lam Tuong Thoai - Head of the Emulation - Commendation Department of VNU-HCM; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Sinh - Dean of the Faculty of Library - Information Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM; MSc. Hoang Tho Phu - Head of Quality Assurance Department, University of Economics and Law, VNU-HCM and MSc. Pham Thi Bich - Deputy Director of the Centre for Educational Testing and Quality Assessment VNU-HCM.

From the UEF, there has been a presence of Dr. Nguyen Thanh Giang - President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Cao Cuong - Permanent Vice President; Dr. Le Vu Huong Giang - Director of the Centre of Quality Assurance, together with the leaders and lecturers of the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Information Technology and Faculty of Tourism - Hospitality Management.

The External Assessment Delegation, the University leaders and Faculties with accredited programs

After an independent, objective, open, and transparent working period from September 6 to September 9, 2022, the External Assessment Delegation conducted the following activities: review evidence documents, surveys, in-depth interviews with leaders, lecturers, employees, students, alumni, representatives of employers, etc. to complete the education quality accreditation according to the standards specified in the Circular 04/2016 TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the closing ceremony, the representative of the external assessment delegation, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Sinh and MSc. Lam Tuong Thoai briefly presented the result after the period of surveying and assessing. The experts highlighted the strengths of UEF in general and of each accredited faculty and particular programs based on standards and criteria. Moreover, the external assessment delegation also proposed recommendations to help UEF improve its training programs in International Law, E-Commerce, Tourism and Travel Service management.

The assessment delegation also gave a compliment on the meticulous preparation of the University for the education accreditation. Besides, the delegation hoped that UEF would continue to consider recommendations to improve the education quality after receiving the official external assessment report.

At the closing ceremony, on behalf of UEF, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Giang expressed sincere thanks to the external delegation for their professional work during the past few days. UEF would consider the strengths as the motivation to develop. Besides, the University also respectfully accepted the recommendations and continued to improve the training program as well as the management activities.

At the end of the Closing Ceremony of the official survey of Accreditation at the program level for 3 undergraduate programs: Tourism and Travel Service management, E-commerce and International Law, the representatives of the Centre for Education Accreditation – Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam National University and UEF signed an MOU on completion the official survey.
