In the dynamic landscape of higher education and global integration, UEF reaffirms its commitment to continuous quality enhancement through The Quality Assurance Training for the 2024-2025 academic year, held on the afternoon of February 27, 2025.The session was attended by Dr. Ly Thien Trang, Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation, along with Directors from the Quality Assurance Office and representatives from 32 university departments.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Ly Thien Trang emphasized that accreditation is not only a measure of institutional prestige but also a key driver of sustainable development. With its accreditation achievements, UEF is steadily strengthening its position within Vietnam’s higher education system while striving toward higher international standards.
To maintain and enhance academic quality, close collaboration among university departments is essential. Additionally, rigorous preparation, continuous updates on evaluation standards, and ongoing improvements in implementation methods are crucial for long-term success.

At the training session, Dr. Le Vu Hương Giang, Director of Department of Quality Assurance, introduced the 2024-2025 Quality Assurance Handbook - a key resource designed to guide and support quality assurance efforts across the university. The handbook provides comprehensive information on UEF’s internal quality assurance system, outlining the responsibilities of relevant units and individuals, as well as the roles and functions of the Quality Assurance Council and Department of Quality Assurance.

One of the keys focuses of the training was to guide faculties responsible for quality assurance in effectively carrying out their duties. From planning and implementation to reporting, data collection, and evidence documentation, all processes must be conducted in a systematic and transparent manner to meet evaluation criteria. Notably, the practical application of accreditation standards in teaching and management plays a crucial role in enhancing educational quality and fostering an internationally standardised learning environment for students.
The training session provided UEF faculty and staff with a deeper understanding of quality assurance, motivating individuals and departments to proactively enhance their competencies and contribute to the university’s overall development. With strategic direction and strong commitment, UEF continues to reaffirm its position as a leading institution in quality assurance and accreditation in higher education.
