UEF WORKS WITH UNIVERSITAS NEGERI SURABAYA ON QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND ACCREDITATION

On the afternoon of November 20, 2024, UEF warmly welcomed a delegation from Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), Indonesia for discussions and exchange experiences in quality management and accreditation, paving the way for future collaborations in high-quality education. The meeting served as an opportunity for both institutions to share experiences and explore potential collaborations to enhance educational quality.
The UNESA delegation included: Dr. Jaka Nugraha – Assistant Professor, Faculty of Economics and Business, Head of International Accreditation; Dr. Widowati Budijastuti – Director of Quality Assurance; Ms. Ayunita Leliana – Head of Evaluation and Quality Assurance. From UEF, attendees included: Dr. Ly Thien Trang – Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation; Ms. Do Minh Tam – Deputy Director of Quality Assurance.
UEF collaborated with Universitas Negeri Surabaya to exchange experiences in quality management and accreditation.
During the meeting, representatives from both universities shared insights into quality assurance frameworks and international accreditation processes in higher education. Ms. Do Minh Tam introduced UEF’s quality assurance system, followed by discussions on best practices in quality management, outcome-based education (OBE) assessment, and international accreditation standards.

Practical experiences were also exchanged, focusing on strategies for assessing the achievement of program learning outcomes and ensuring alignment with established standards. Additionally, discussions explored potential areas for collaboration, including faculty and student exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and university ranking projects.
Driven by a shared commitment to enhancing educational quality and fostering meaningful partnerships, the collaboration between UEF and UNESA promises significant development opportunities for both institutions in the future, marking an important step in UEF’s internationalization strategy.
