MISSION

The Center of Service - Learning at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) fosters the collaboration between institutions of higher education, communities, and stakeholders that reinforce community-based learning, enhance transferable skills, encourage practical thinking, engage the sense of civic responsibility for the beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources in a context of sustainable economic and social development.

VISION

- The Center of Service - Learning at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) through integrating academic curriculum with community service has carried out the educational philosophy of UEF in the light of international standards and sustainable development, which is “UEF students must have in-depth knowledge and good personality.”

- Service Learning is an effective pedagogy that offers a means for the UEF graduates to engage in hands-on skills, shape students’ civic responsibility, and develop an international vision for current socio-economic challenges.

- Service Learning will be introduced into the curricula of UEF as mandatory in the next 5 years.

- Service Learning at UEF becomes a prominent feature of its students and the pioneer of the Service Learning approach in Vietnam.
