Duc Minh - Thao Nguyen “Differences make common ground”

Myself is the change I want 
Clear outlook on life, always actively in a position to be ready to seize every opportunity to explore your hidden abilities - Nguyen Duc Minh, 2nd year student of Public Relations, University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City HCM (UEF), one of the enthusiastic members of the project Communication for Development (C4D) of the UEF Community Connection Center (TT. KNCĐ UEF)


Before joining the Center, Duc Minh had a period of time to observe the operation process of the Center and how the students connected with each other. Feeling the same energy and appropriate personal development roadmap, Minh officially marked the journey with the Center with the event "Mature Footsteps". Looking back now, "the right person at the right time" is what Minh thinks about this journey.


"Accompanying TT. Through many events, but perhaps the SheFuture contest - Female Startup 2022 is the project that I am most interested in. Here I can work with many good people, try out a competition that is not my specialty, fortunate to meet companions who work seriously, clarity in each development direction, help me know how to balance my ego and versatility,  more flexible in the way of working" - Duc Minh shared. 


At the present time, Duc Minh's skills are growing, including hard skills and soft skills. Duc Minh is more flexible in the way he works, knows how to exploit psychology to work effectively, knows how to care about people's feelings, brings work to life and brings life to work. Each event, each lesson helps Minh experience meeting and interacting with many good people with different majors, adapting well to new perspectives. This is also a great opportunity for Minh himself to become more and more perfect, more open, form for himself an enthusiastic way of living, not being complacent and thinking for the community and society.
 
Carrying the spirit of commitment to experience and confidence accumulated in the development journey with C4D, Minh always actively learns and enhances his self-worth through activities and competitions inside and outside the school such as: Second prize of UEF Student Creative Ideas, First Prize of Aerobics,  organizing events in conjunction with Artists,...



 
Thereby, Duc Minh has a few messages for those who want to become a member of TT. UEF: "Here you don't need to do what you're good at, the Center's activities revolve around the people you work with. If you have entered the circle of the Center, then hopefully you will unleash your best, tell the Center all the skills and experiences you want to try to develop yourself. Surely your experience is large-scale and accompanied in the most reassuring way."
 
Boldly experience and grow

 Also a 2nd year student of Public Relations at UEF, Hoang Thao Nguyen is an enthusiastic, dedicated, sociable and responsible girl. Right from the moment I stepped into the university gate, I always had a sense of training and striving to become a typical student. Therefore, Thao Nguyen has set a goal to make efforts to learn and participate in school activities as much as possible. And fortunately, Thao Nguyen is honored to become a member of the C4D project with the main role of coordinating the event with the team with Duc Minh.
 

Nguyen shared about the first days: "Right from the beginning of participation, I felt the friendliness, support and enthusiastic guidance of everyone in the Center, especially Ms. Phuong (Deputy Director of the Center) and Ms. Phung (Coordinator). I experienced, learned many good things and gradually became more confident. I have learned how to manage my emotions, see things with a multi-dimensional perspective, think positively and love life a lot’.ourney at TT. UEF Industrial Park is as bright as the summer sunshine that lights up the Steppe Youth Road.
          
With dynamic, creative qualities, skillful application of soft skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, crisis management,... Nguyen has turned many ideas into reality. Projects with creative themes have come into practice, such as the Adult Footsteps event, the talkshow The Power of Ordinary People or the workshop introducing the 6th New Life Page - Opening a New Page of Life for you. 
 
 In youth, how many unfulfilled dreams people have, how many willpower have been carried away by the wind, how many plans have been abandoned because they haven't really taken risks. Nguyen is always hungry for adventure and experience, new lessons make Thao Nguyen a more mature day. "The SheFuture – Female Entrepreneurship Contest 2022 is an extremely important project for Nguyen. These are arduous and stressful starts, but fortunately, the team members can always reconcile with each other, taking pressure as motivation to improve the project better. Everyone shares their own experiences, wrong together, correct right, until it is good. This is also one of the first stages to have a mature steppe like now" - Thao Nguyen shared.

 
Although Duc Minh and Thao Nguyen are a couple on the same team, their personalities are completely opposite. To make a final decision, it is necessary to unanimously appreciate the feasibility and message that the project sends to everyone. In the beginning, you could not find common ground, disagree on views, but now you are the ones who know each other best. What is appreciated here is the spirit of respecting discipline, listening, empathizing with each other, striving for common causes and living responsibly. 
 
The journey accompanies TT. The MPA is something that Duc Minh and Thao Nguyen always feel cherished and grateful for. With the dedication and enthusiasm of youth, we hope that you will inspire students studying under the UEF roof, endless inspiration, enthusiasm, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility will forever burn so that the years of youth are memorable.
