Nguyen Thi Hong Dao, the main character of the interview, is a 2nd year student in Diplomatic Operations, Faculty of International Relations at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF). Many people often know you as an MC who appears in many events organized by the School's Youth Union - Faculty, but few people know that you are also one of the core members - head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Nu project. Laughing at Children (NCET) belongs to UEF Community KNC Center.


With the life philosophy "Be yourself and the best version of yourself", Dao always works responsibly, wants to complete everything well and completely and aims for perfection. On the outside, Dao looks like a small, sociable, friendly girl, but Dao has a resilient soul, the will to progress and her efforts to rise are admirable. Became the owner of the Inspiring Voice award at the Mic Zone Contest 2022 and held the mic in many major programs such as: Vietnam-China art competition, meeting Lao international students at UEF on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the Republic of Korea. Khanh Laos, celebrating the 72nd anniversary of the UEF Vietnamese Student Tradition Day,... is the clearest proof of the young woman's abundant energy source, always burning with all her heart.



Going back in time to the time of the COVID-19 epidemic, when the city was in a state of Lockdown (closing), students across the country had to study online at home. During that time of facing many losses, instead of feeling negative, Hong Dao found an environment to renew herself and NCET is your choice. Dao started her first step with the project as a volunteer student teaching online skills to children at the shelter. "Remembering the first time meeting the children through the screen, the images of innocent and innocent children made Dao regain optimism in life." - Hong Dao shared.


From the first days of accompanying NCET, our girl also experienced difficulties when her specialized knowledge of foreign affairs - diplomacy was not trained in depth, and she was assigned the responsibility of head of the Foreign Relations Department. outside of the project. Like many others, you feel nervous about leading your bandmates. You added: "But Dao always has Dao's team, the coordination board behind him, and a support center, so there are no major difficulties other than the feeling that I don't have enough knowledge to solve it." problems."

"For Dao, Dao's juniors are always friends," Hong Dao shared cordially. You have a very cute way of addressing your "junior" by calling them "sister" and calling the other person "friend". Through working with alumni on the project, in addition to teamwork skills, Hong Dao also learned how to listen more and how to manage emotions and adjust her ego.


Two years is not short. Halfway through college with NCET, Dao and his teammates have experienced many meaningful activities together, leaving many unforgettable memories. There is joy, there is fatigue, there are difficulties and difficulties, and they all converge in the 2-week fundraising campaign called "Selling cakes to feed the children."

The time spent planning the campaign, according to you, was a difficult and challenging step in producing the final plan and going through many revisions to get it approved by the ladies. But, with the unanimity of all members, the event took place successfully and was told in a sobbing tone, full of faith and pride: "Dao's team raised a lot of funds." in 2 weeks. Oh my god... The day we held that amount of money in our hands and all the members of the coordination committee gathered together to summarize, Dao felt very happy because we felt we had accomplished it. something a little big to help more children out there.”



“The foreign affairs team is like Dao's brainchild. Dao believes that the people he leads will be the ones who raise his spiritual children.
