TALKSHOW “OVERVIEW OF THE U.S. LABOR LAW: OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES FOR VIETNAMESE STUDENTS WHEN GETTING A JOB IN THE U.S.”

In the current context of globalization, studying and working in developed countries provide valuable opportunities for students to enhance their knowledge, skills, and career prospects. The United States, with its advanced and modern legal system, plays a pioneering role in implementing globalization policies and special welfare policies for workers.

To help UEF students expand their practical knowledge in the field of U.S. Labor Law and understand the opportunities and challenges Vietnamese students face when seeking employment in the U.S., the UEF School of Law’s U.S. Law Center (USLC) in collaboration with the UEF International Law Club (ILC) will host the talkshow “Overview of The U.S. Labor Law: Opportunities and Challenges for Vietnamese Students When Getting a Job in the U.S.” on the evening of May 25th. The event will be held online and is expected to attract the participation of leaders, lecturers, and a large number of law students. We are honored to have speakers Dr. Danny Duy, a lawyer at Mekong Vime JSC Group, and CPA Lynn Huynh, a senior tax specialist at Deloitte.

EVENT INFORMATION:

Content: The event aims to discuss and share with students the career opportunities in the field of law and the essential knowledge and skills needed for future lawyers. The speakers will particularly emphasize practical knowledge. They will share numerous stories about U.S. labor law, including labor relations, workers' rights and obligations, helping students understand the opportunities and challenges of seeking employment in a multicultural environment like the U.S.
