A short - term course: “Introduction to the American Legal System” organized by the US Law Center collaborated with UEF Faculty of Law and Integrity Law Club.
This course focuses on giving, introducing the generality view of the legal system of the US, including: (i) The American Constitution; (ii) Statutory Law and Common Law System; (iii) The Court System; (iv) The American Jury; (v) Enterprise Law; (vi) The Dispute Resolution Mechanism; (vii) Law Practise in the America.
In addition, students will be equipped with reading, analyzing, researching and legal critical thinking skills.

Lecturer: Professor - Lawyer Robert E. Shapiro.
Prof. Robert E. Shapiro is a litigation attorney at Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg, LLP in Chicago with over 40 years of expertise in business, commerce, and intellectual property dispute resolution. He is also a professor at St. Bonaventure University in New York and Saint Xavier University in Chicago at the same time. Furthermore, he frequently makes appearances on Chicago television programs where he discusses matters related to international relations, law, and politics.
