Regarding the international semester in Japan, a group of UEF students arrived at Kobe International University (KIU) on June 11, ready to explore and exchange knowledge in this brand new environment.

Being welcomed with formal ceremonies in Catholic manner - the characterizing feature of the school’s ceremonies, UEFers will have better realization and knowledge of ceremonial diversity in multicultural learning environment.

Savour Japanese cuisine right from the beginning
After the welcome party, UEFers continued to partake in a field trip with Japanese students majoring in “International Communication and Airline” – directly taught by nobody else but professor Yuki Shimomura – KIU President. This class helps the students gain more knowledge on international communication, especially in the aviation sector. Right in the very first lesson, students from UEF proved their ability to integrate quickly and showed the energy and confidence often found in international students.

Before the seminar ends, KIU lecturers had a warm talk with UEFers about Japanese people and its culture.
The trip to Japan continues with exciting activities
One interesting day has passed, today (June 12), UEFers goes on to participating in English and Japanese classes with international students studying at KIU.
