Marketing Students Partner with Social Enterprises at the “Social Impact Branding” Workshop

DECEMBER 18, Business Administration and Marketing students at Gloucestershire Vietnam had the opportunity to participate in the final assessment of the Marketing in Society course. Under the theme “Social Impact Branding: Transforming 2C and Your-E", this was not only the course’s final evaluation but also a meaningful experience where students worked alongside two social enterprises, 2C and Your-E, to build and develop their brands, contributing to the enhancement of community value.

Attending the workshop was M.A. Tran Phuong Quynh - Deputy Director of the UEF International Institute, Vice President of Gloucestershire Vietnam, M.A. Le Nguyen Ngoc Thanh - Lecturer of the course, along with M.A. Tran Thi My Phuong - Head of the Center of Service-Learning, UEF. Especially, the event also featured guests from the companies, including Ms. Nguyen Vo Truc Giang, representing 2C and Your-E.

2C and Your-E are two social enterprises dedicated to the mission of supporting underserved communities through meaningful including such as tuition sponsorships, affordable high-quality English courses, and skill development programs.
At the event, students focused on developing brand identity packages and creative marketing strategies to effectively communicate the vision, mission, and meaningful contributions of the two social enterprises to the community. The student group’s ideas included not only logo and slogan but also innovative communication campaigns. These campaigns emphasized the core value and humanitarian mission of 2C and Your-E through diverse media channels.

The feedback from business representatives and lecturers offered practical insights, allowing students to better understand the role of marketing in the social sector. Moreover, the students received valuable suggestions to enhance and improve their work.

The event concluded not only with outstanding marketing ideas but also with a valuable opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of social enterprises in creating positive change. Throughout this event, students enhanced their professional skills while also learning the importance of social responsibility - an indispensable trait for future marketers.
