DECEMBER 19 and 20, the International Institute organized the “Fusion Fest: Cultures Together” program, a dynamic series of exchange activities with students from the University of Arkansas, USA. The event provided participants with opportunities to explore meaningful aspects of Vietnamese culture and foster bonds through engaging sports and cultural activities.

Accompanying the U.S. student delegation was Mr. Kevin Thacker, Consultant of M&K Tourism and Culture Exchange. UEF representatives included Dr. Do Nguyen Huu Loc - Vice President, Prof.Dr. Eric Jose Olmedo Panal - Director of the International Institute, Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh - Deputy Director of the International Institute, and Mr. Nguyen Ba Anh - Deputy Director of the International Institute.

Later that day, students joined the “Cultures Exchange and Games” activity with participants from UEF’s British Bachelor’s Program (UoG). Guided by the IEF Club, they discovered Vietnam’s history and unique traditions, including clothing, food, festivals, and landmarks. A standout moment was the hands-on activity of creating lì xì (lucky money envelopes), a cherished tradition during the Lunar New Year.
