“Experience Class 2024”: High school students explore international education at UEF

The meeting was lively and engaging, with enthusiastic participation from the students

Accompanying 7 high school students on their experience and exploration of UEF were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President and Director, UEF International Institute, Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute and Mr. Nguyen Ba Anh - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute.

At the beginning of the program, students gained useful insights into the bilingual learning environment from Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh. UEF’s constantly expanding partner network, well-structured training curriculum, and experienced lecturers from both domestic and international backgrounds will provide students with opportunities to broaden their mindset, enrich their knowledge and enhance their English proficiency. 

Moreover, students can have the chance to engage in the “on-site studying abroad” programs, allowing them to experience the international academic environment right in Vietnam when participating in an international collaborative program or articulation program at prestigious universities around the world, such as University of Gloucestershire (UK), Keuka College (USA), etc.

In addition to exploring information about qualified training programs in UEF, students also participated in the Campus Tour featuring various exhilarating activities. Under the enthusiastic guidance of senior students, the high school students toured several prominent locations of UEF including the library, self-study area, aerobics rooms, gyms, martial arts facilities, etc. Impressed by modern and convenient facilities, the 2k6 team expressed their excitement about the prospect of being a part of UEF in the upcoming days.

High school students also participated in 2 courses on General English (English Communication), which helped them improve their English communication skills, and Applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Learning Process.

The Experience Class 2024 was conducted by Mr. David Christopher Maher - Lecturer, UEF International Institute and Mr. Pham Cong Nhat - MSc in Media and Communications Management (UK) and Lecturer, UEF International Institute. Thanks to the speakers, students gained a deep understanding of the distinct teaching methods employed in UEF’s international bachelor’s programs. Furthermore, they also received exciting gifts for participating in mini-games during the class.
