After five days of continuous study and teamwork, UEFers and their peers from Japan successfully developed several practical sustainable tourism projects. On the morning of September 20, the Project Design Innovation course, co-taught and themed "Smart City Tourism," concluded with a closing ceremony. The course was organized by the Project Design Training Center in collaboration with Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT), Japan.
The course closing ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung, Director of the Center of Project Design Education, and Ms. Ha Le Thu Hoai, Deputy Director of the Center of Project Design Education, along with the center’s instructors. Representing KIT were Professor Dr. Ryoichi Suzuki and Professor Go Okada.
Through continuous learning and practical sessions with KIT and UEF instructors, student teams acquired a wealth of knowledge on innovation, idea generation, and the foundational steps of startup project development under the course’s primary theme, "Smart City Tourism." Each session provided students the freedom to engage actively with instructors, collaborate enthusiastically in teams, and gain insight into problem assessment, solution formulation, and recommendation development. After five days of intensive study, UEF students and their Japanese peers successfully completed three practical projects aligned with SRI's core principles of innovation.

UEFers present their projects to instructors via online platform
All three projects received high praise from the instructors. UEFers and their international peers demonstrated a serious and dedicated approach to learning and teamwork, a commitment that was duly acknowledged by the instructors. However, given the short course duration, some gaps in project ideation and design were inevitable. The instructors provided candid feedback, helping students gain deeper insights and refine their group projects to achieve the best possible results.
